Staying on top of your personal and business finances may prove daunting — especially if your life is filled with school, work, and family. But, a smartphone and several financial and accounting apps (including apps that allow you to take credit card payments) can make your life easier on the go. The apps in this list certainly can appeal to accountants, but they were built to accommodate any user — from a high school teen who needs to balance an allowance to a family saving for college and a home. The list is categorized by iPhone and Android apps, including a supply of apps that are usable in both mobile phones.
